My dear fellow skincare-lovers!

Out of my obsession with skincare, my religious following of several blogs* and a scientific urge to keep making adaptions to the better, I decided to start a skincare and beauty blog of my own!

I will try to post as often as I can and apologise upfront if I cannot keep up with a tight schedule at all times, as I am still busy with earning money (really…who needs that?!) and finishing my master-thesis in Political Sciences (I promise this is no tragic case of procrastination).

So let’s get to the basics of what I am trying to do!

What can you expect from this blog:

• Talks and hopefully interesting discussions about skincare/skintype/ingredients

• Analysis of different skincare-products based on their ingredient-list ONLY

• Point-of-view reviews of products I used, liked, disliked

• Debunking skincare-myths and products that really won’t help you

• Me rambling on and on…

What you won’t find here:

• Haircare-advice (I am SO bad with hair…SO bad)

• Skincare-products based on the claims on the packaging

• Professional or medical advice, as I am neither a skincare-trained-professional, nor a doctor. So if you find yourself with a bad rash, unspecified pustules, very bad case of acne please find a good (!!!!) dermatologist and do NOT consult the internet. (Maybe I will write about horrendous experiences with dermatologists, though)

I will kick this baby off with a series about THE BASICS of skincare and in-depth reviews of my currently used skin-care-products!
